Kauai opens the 2011 Festival series with the 7th Annual Kauai Healing Garden Festival held Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Kilohana Plantation Luau Pavilion in Lihue (Puhi). 

Residents and visitors alike can look forward to celebrating the cornucopia of healthy living, food and fun of the Garden Isle.

The Kauai festival includes a full day of entertainment and presentations, plus a health & sustainability expo, healthy food vendors, eco-fashion show, lei & local food contest, and activities for adults and keiki too.

Come and taste the health benefits of Chinese medicinal teas, learn the health secrets of Filipino herbs and the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, better understand traditional Hawaiian plants used for healing, discover herbs for longevity and vitality. Find out what traditional plants that can ease inflammation and improve immune systems. Start a beautiful water garden pond or learn about the superior health and environmental benefits of growing and eating organic foods.

A variety of workshops and tours are held the week following the Kauai Festival. See online schedules for additional workshops at locations around Kauai.

This year’s collaboration with Hawaii Health Guide and the Sanctuary of Mana Ke’a Gardens expands the flavors of the Islands summer Mango season. Held at the beautiful oceanfront Royal Gardens at the Keauhou Beach Resort.

The festival is co-presented by Na Wai Iwi OlaHawaii Health Guide and the Sanctuary at Mana Kea Gardens. The Festival showcases Hawai’I Island’s culture, culinary excellence, healing arts, and features an eco-fashion show, great organic food, cultural presentations, music & entertainment, and the Mango Garden with mango tasting and recipe contests, mango grafting demonstrations and plant sale. A special fund raiser dinner allow celebrity chefs, farmers, visitors and mango lovers to mingle.

The Health fair features Health and Wellness services, natural products, organic goods, and book and plant sale. A non-profit section will feature community groups & educational presenters. This will be open mid morning and support the festival and entertainment.

fashion show, mango recipe contest, gardening, grafting & growing green communities! Delicious healthy cooking & raw food demos, Natural products, art & local crafts,

Non-profit community groups, educational presenters. healthy food and family fun. Lei contests, local recipe contests featuring mangos! (Big Island) Special focus on a zero waste event.


Nurture the Garden!

The Hawaii Healing Garden Festivals are a community collaboration, focused on nurturing a healthy environment and creating healthy community. With help from generous funding, donations, support and guidance, the seeds of this event continue to grow to support all of those who journey through the Hawaii Healing Garden.

An open invitation is extended to the local and international community of educators, botanists, gardeners, cultural practitioners, health practitioners, herbalists, healers, healthy food & product providers, musicians, dancers and performers, to participate in the entertaining and educational programs and health fairs.

Businesses, organizations, service providers, and nonprofit groups are invited to educate, promote their services, and sell their products at health fair booths. Volunteers are invited to help in creating an amazing, and fun Festival for each islands community of residents and visitors.

The 2010 Hawaii Healing Garden Festivals wrapped up a great series of statewide events this year on the islands of Kauai, Big Island & Oahu. The Kauai Festival sizzled in its signature summer location at incredible Kilohana Plantation Luau Pavilion. The new Healing Garden - Mango Festival was held in Kona, at the oceanfront Keauhou Beach Resort, with packed vendors and attendees enjoying health, music and mangos! And the Oahu Festival was held at the Haleiwa Farmers Market was the largest Healing Garden Festival to date with over 4,000 visitors and residents, enjoying the Festivals Healthy & Green vendors and program presentations.

The Hawaii Healing Garden Festivals series is presented by Hawaii Health Guide to support healthy living in Hawaii, with networking and educational opportunities for Hawaii’s community of visitors and residents looking for Healthy & Green resources, businesses, service and product providers. Each island hosts a Festival celebration day of entertainment,
educational and cultural presentations, a health fair of Healthy & Green sustainability services, natural products, and organic goods, massage, health practitioners, and delicious organic foods, and entertainment.
