Treatment Locations Hale Luana, a 16 foot yurt serving as our treatment room, is an oasis of serenity in the Hana rainforest. It is a peaceful place to relax and enjoy services that pamper as well as promote true health and wellness. Massages and Body Treatments may also be experienced in our traditional Hawaiian Hale, overlooking Hana Bay, for an additional $10.

Lomilomi
Traditional Hawaiian massage, integrating body, mind, emotions and spirit through long, flowing, rhythmic strokes which work through the muscles to connect down to the iwi (bones).

Swedish
A soothing and relaxing treatment using European techniques of stroking, kneading, percussion and friction.

Aromatherapy A relaxing massage using a blend of aromatic essential oils which directly affect ones physical, mental and emotional state.

Craniosacral
A deeply relaxing, subtle and very gentle treatment of imbalances in the delicate rhythms of the craniosacral system, including the cranial bones, sacrum and membranes that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

Prenatal
A special blend of essential oils is applied in a gentle, nurturing massage addressing the specific needs of expectant mothers. Essential oils are not used during the first trimester.

Reflexology
A massage for feet and hands, applying pressure to reflex points which stimulate corresponding organs and areas of the body.

Reiki
In this relaxing treatment, performed fully clothed, the therapist transmits universal life force energy through laying on of hands, facilitating healing on all levels physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Lomi Luana
Our signature massage, a soothing lomilomi treatment incorporating hot stones and using exotic essential oils blended into our unique Rainforest Massage and Body Oil.

Lomi Pohaku
Smooth heated pohaku (stones) are utilized in a rhythmic, flowing and therapeutic massage. The penetrating heat is deeply relaxing to the muscles and calming to the mind.

Deep/Sports
Myofascial and stretching techniques are applied in a full body and/or spot treatment, to release deep chronic tension and restore flexibility to the muscles and connective tissue. A therapeutic sports blend oil provides additional benefit.

Thai
A dynamic and invigorating massage performed without oil on a floor mat in loose, comfortable clothing. Extensive stretching, range of motion, compression and acupressure techniques increase flexibility and well being.

Shiatsu
A Japanese-style massage, performed on massage table or floor mat without oil, utilizing deep thumb pressure on acupuncture points to stimulate and balance energy meridians.

Tandem
Two therapists work together in harmony to soothe away muscle tension and stress. A beautiful dance of synchronized strokes will leave you deeply relaxed. Price depends on type and length of massage chosen, and is double the cost for one therapist.

Lomi for Lovers

Have fun learning to massage each other as your therapist demonstrates and guides you in basic principles and techniques. You each give and receive a one hour massage in the process and receive a gift of our exotic Rainforest Massage and Body Oil.

Facial Masque    15 min  $20 Facial cleansing, massage and application of your choice from a selection of masques.

Foot Treatment    15 min  $20 First wrapped in warm towels, the feet are then exfoliated with a scrub or peel, followed by a moisturizing lotion massage.

Scalp Treatment    15 min  $20 A scalp massage applying custom blended essential oils in a base of pure jojoba.

Oxygen Inhalation/Application  15 min  $20 Breathe pure concentrated oxygen as an invigorating and refreshing addition to any treatment. Oxygen may also be applied as a spot treatment for sunburn, acne or other skin problems.
