11th Annual Fort DeRussy Biathlon

Race Begins at 7:00am

The Hale Koa Hotel AFRC proudly presents the 11th Annual Ft.DeRussy Biathlon and Keiki Run-Swim-Run Event. This event offers two types of adult races and keiki races with distances determined by age.

It’s a great way to spend the morning, get fit and stay healthy.  In addition to the race we host a variety of companies and services that assist in keeping you healthy. Join our host Mental Mele from 98.5 our sponsors Midweek/Star bulletin, Coca Cola, Jamba Juice, Niketown, Hawaii Youth Triathlon Club, MeadowGold, Sun Planet, Aqua Sphere, and Hawaii Health Guide!

Long Course: 5K Run followed by 1K Swim
Short Course: 2.5K Run followed by 500m Swim
All races start and finish on Fort DeRussy Beach with the entire race with in the Fort DeRussy property.

There will be awards for the following male/female groups:
Individual: Elite, Military, 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-39, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older
Relay: Men, Women, Mixed and Masters (Participants must be 45 years or older to qualify as Master)

Entry Fees and other Important Information:
Individual: $20, Student $19, Military $18, Two person relay $35 per team, Keiki $14
Fees include official race T-shirt, refreshments and awards
Entry deadline: Postmarked by February 21, 2009
Late fee add $7 (No guarantees of T-shirt for late entries)
