Hundreds of Earth-Friendly Products On Display At The Green Living Expo

Eco-sapiens, get ready to shop till you drop.  From soaps that clean your body without dirtying the planet to earth-friendly furniture, The Green Living Expo is the earth-conscious shopper’s ultimate eco-mall, with hundreds of different products to try, buy and incorporate into their lifestyle.

Today’s green products go far beyond reusable grocery bags and those amazing, curly light bulbs.  In addition to cleaners and cosmetics, clothing, kitchenware, rugs, linens furniture and almost anything you can imagine is now available in an eco-friendly form.  Hundreds of these products and services will be on display March 15-17 at Honolulu’s Blaisdell Center at the Green-Living Expo.  The Expo also includes a Green Building Zone, a Green Living Zone, an Eco-Car Zone; a Green Kids Zone packed with fun activities and even an Eco-Fashion Show.

Local TV and Radio host Evan Albright explains, “Experimenting with eco products is an incredibly simple way to start going green.  Not only are they better for the planet, but they’re usually better for you too!”  Albright, Host of KUMU Radio’s Green Living Hour and FOX KOHN News’s Green Living Minute, will be sharing his eco-living tips and tricks live at the Expo.

Featuring over 150 exhibits and 55 workshops, The Green Living Expo is sponsored by Hawaiian Electric Company, Mercury Solar AM 500 The Team and many more.  The event will be held Saturday, March 15 through Monday, March 17 at the Blaisdell Center.  Hours are from 2pm to 8pm on Saturday, 10am to 5pm Sunday and 10am to 2pm Monday.  Admission is free.
