How do we ensure there will be future nurses, doctors, massage therapists, nutritionists and other health professions? How can we help support students interested in Health & Wellness careers?
The Hawaii Health Guide Health & Wellness Education Scholarship Fund will provide encouragement, recognition and financial support to those Hawaii students who are electing to pursue careers in Health & Wellness in Hawaii in Fall 2008.
The Hawaii Health Guide Health & Wellness Education Scholarship 2006 and 2007 award fund was awarded to three students each year in Hawaii.
The funds are available to all Hawaii students regardless of age. High school students and people pursuing a mid life change of career are equally welcome to apply. Funds will be directly applicable to tuition costs at an established school or CEU accredited workshop, or cultural practice through the lineage of a recognized kumu/apprentice healing tradition.

Hawaii Health Guide will be awarding several scholarships to students pursuing education in the Health & Wellness professions in Hawaii.
Deadline for applications is July 1, 2008 (Please see link for application form.)

Scholarship funds are being raised through several sources;
If you are a merchant or Health & Wellness practitioner who would like to donate a gift certificate or service to the Scholarship raffle pool, simply copy this text into a reply email to events@hawaiihealthguide.com and fill in the blanks, and hit send!
If your organization or your business is interested in helping sponsor the fund for $100 or more, and you would like to be included in the 2008 Scholarship Media kit, please contact us and request the PDF sponsorship documents and details of the Hawaii Health & Wellness Educational Scholarship sponsorship logo package.
