Hypnosis is possibly as old as mankind. Today, the use of hypnosis is seen in a variety of fields, including: health care, dentistry, law enforcement, professional sports, and education. To quote Steven Gurgevich, Ph.d., "Hypnosis is a collection of methods that enable mind and body to share information more effectively. One such method is called trance - a process of creating an inner-self experience of focused consciousness that enables your mind and body to accept and share your intentions, beliefs, and expectations as true."
The human mind works on two levels - the conscious and the unconscious. We make decisions, think, and act with our conscious mind. The unconscious mind controls our habits. In the relaxed state known as hypnosis, we can communicate directly with the unconscious mind. This is why hypnosis is effective in getting the results a client is looking for in whatever area of their life they want to improve.
Hypnosis is completely safe and natural. The client is aware and in control at every moment and can terminate the session at any time. And the hypnotic state is relaxing and enjoyable.
Life coaching focuses on results and outcomes by enabling and empowering a client to tap into her/his unlimited potential in order to achieve personal excellence. It brings balance and achievement into a client's life, as long as she/he makes the commitment to follow the program.
Life Coaching is an interdependent relationship between the client and the coach. As such, it is based on honesty, respect and the unwavering belief in one's unlimited potential.
Shamanism & Shamanic Healing
Shamanism is the condensed and tried knowledge of indigenous people from around the world. It is the applied wisdom, collected over millennia, of how to be in the world in harmony with everything that surrounds us, everything that makes up a specific locale and its wider environment: from animals and plants to mountains and lakes, from clouds, wind and rain to the weather and the year's seasons, from our fellow human beings to life's vicissitudes and the cosmic phenomena. Shamans are mediators in the analysis and the treatment of suffering. They converse with the spirits, who are outside of time, and who understand from an advanced position beyond physical reality the cause and meaning of a particular illness in a particular life. The insights of the spirits guide the shaman in alleviating a client's pain, and they facilitate physical and emotional healing. The spirits also assist the shaman in divination and in guiding the souls of the deceased to the other realm.
The Art of Dowsing
Dowsing is an ancient art of finding water, lost items, buried utility lines, oil & gas reserves, best locations for a garden, Earth energy lines, Noxious Earth energies and/or just about anything else one can think of. When practicing the art of dowsing, one can use many different tools: Y-rods, L-rods and pendulums being the most popular. Even our own bodies can be the "tool" and this method is known as Kinesiology.
The archetypal labyrinth served our ancestors as a mystical reminder of the riddle of life, birth, death and reincarnation. Today it becomes a symbol for wholeness as well as a way of knowing and remembering.
The classical design that is the most common throughout history, consists of seven concentric paths leading unicursal to the center and out again. We can find it on clay shards in Syria, as graffiti in Pompeii, in South American line drawings, on Hopi baskets and as turf labyrinths in Northern Europe.
Our design process includes:
-Initial site visit
-Dowsing to determine the appropriate location
-Designing the labyrinth form
-Creating the labyrinth
